Dr. Anderson was born and raised in Wisconsin.  He performed his undergraduate work at University of Wisconsin and postgraduate work at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri.  Dr. Anderson graduated at the top of his class and has earned a Bachelor's degree of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic.  While in professional school, Dr. Anderson had undergone extensive internship and preceptorship training at a number of locations which included Bogey Hills Health Center in St. Charles, Missouri, Montgomery Health Center Clinic in Chesterfield, Missouri, as well as other clinics in Gastonia, North Carolina, and Monroe, North Carolina. 

Dr. Anderson became certified by The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and attained licensure in both The North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners and The South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners. 

In January 1999, he established Anderson Family Chiropractic, PLLC in the University Area of Charlotte, North Carolina.  In the following years, Dr. Anderson has achieved numerous hours of postgraduate education in courses concerning chiropractic, the spine, soft tissue injuries, x-ray analysis, diagnosis, and adjusting technique (Diversified, Activator Methods, Impulse Adjusting Segmental Drop Table Adjusting Thompson Technique, Motion Palpation of the Spine, Gonstead, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), and Cox Flexion-Distraction Technique.  Other courses include the following:

Dr. Anderson is certified in acupuncture by the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Dr. Anderson has also recieved proferred provider status for all the major health insurance companies.

Dr. Anderson is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), an active member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association (NCCA), a past member of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA), and a past associate member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association (SCCA). 

In Addition, Dr. Anderson is deeply involved with the local community and has given many lectures in the Charlotte area.  He has been helping Charlotte's University area for the past 12 years freeing people from pain and is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of his patients. 

Dr. Anderson uses a "whole person approach" to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning.  This approach to wellness means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms.  Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Anderson will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs.  He will make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize your condition for normal function.  Using his unique approach, he is able to help his patient's accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.  Under Dr. Anderson's supervision and care, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.  He also works in concert with other healthcare professionals.  If chiropractic care is not the most effective treatment for your problem, you will be referred to the proper healthcare professional.

On a personal level Dr. Anderson enjoys spending his free time with his wife and four children.  He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, running yearly half marathons and committing himself to serving his patients to allow them to also enjoy their lives to the fullest.
